Coach

Part-Time

You are furthering Cor’s mission by empowering students to positively change school climate and culture. You are energized and eager to work with high school students.
The Coach is an externally-focused role, working directly with students to teach workshops on prosocial concepts during the school day; facilitate positive youth developmental outcomes and resiliency; works closely with the Director of Outreach and assists in other related tasks

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adopt an Actively Caring lifestyle
  • Attend organizational/curriculum trainings and team meetings
  • Collaborate with staff to improve programs
  • Deliver prosocial curricula to students
  • Support student's development of prosocial, cultural & leadership competence

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed or pursuing an undergraduate degree in the field of psychology, human development, business, or related fields
  • Culturally competent
  • Emotionally intelligent
  • Leadership skills to inspire others

Fellow

Part-Time

 

actively care AS A COLLEGE STUDENT

You are service-oriented student who is passionate about advancing Cor’s vision of creating a more prosocial and equitable culture. You are passionate about preventing violence and aggression and promoting character in schools. We hope to create a pathway for you to develop the skills in order to select a service-oriented career.  
The Fellow is an externally-focused role, working directly with students and school personnel to support school-based programs; works closely with the Director of Outreach to increase the quantity of schools served and improve the quality of programming provided; serves as an ambassador and advocate for the organization; assists in other related tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Commitment to serve others
  • Attend organizational/ curriculum training and team meetings
  • Conduct needs assessment of schools
  • Improve curricula based on practitioners' feedback
  • Communicate with and support school personnel
  • Manage travel logistics and invoicing
  • Support program implementation and evaluation
  • Additional tasks as assigned by Director of Outreach

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree or graduate degree in the field of psychology, human development, business, or related fields
  • Superior time management skills
  • Culturally competent
  • Emotionally intelligent
  • Leadership skills to inspire others
  • Event and logistic planning skills
  • Knowledge of K-12 school environment

Advocate

Part-Time

 

actively care AS A SCHOOL LEADER

The Advocate is an existing school personnel, working directly with students and other school personnel to support school-based programs; works closely with the Director of Outreach.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Commitment to serve others
  • Attend organizational/ curriculum training and staff meetings
  • Learn the COR concepts through Actively Caring or training 
  • Communicate with COR Director of Outreach and other school personnel
  • Manage travel logistics and invoicing
  • Support program implementation and evaluation
  • Offer expertise and enhance the organization and their programming
  • Raise awareness and engage others to support COR

QUALIFICATIONS

Open to any of the following roles:
